Dr. Jin-young Kim graduated in 1996 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, which is the first chiropractic school in the world. Prior to that, she majored in Chemistry at Seoul Woman¡¯s University in Seoul, Korea.

After graduation from Palmer College, Dr. Kim went back to Korea and worked with Hanseo university and RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) to develop chiropractic course in Korea. During that time, she was working as a program developer, an instructor and school clinician. While she was working as a school clinician, she had great experience with working directly with orthopeadic surgeons, neuro spinal surgeons, physiatrists, chinese medical doctors and physical therapists.

Dr. Kim started practicing in Seattle from 2003 after her family relocation to Seattle area. While she was practicing in Seattle with diversified, activator, cox, and soft tissue technique, she started to realize how important to correct upper cervical accurately, especially first bone of our spine. Atlas, the first cervical bone will effect greatly for length of healing and decreasing pain for difficult cases.

Dr. Kim is now acandidate for the Sherman College board certification for atlas orthogonal specialty and will be certified in March, 2008. She opened Atlas Orthogonal Specialty Clinic in Lynnwood, Washington in 2007. She is one of the two doctors practicing Atlas Orthogonal Specialty in North Seattle Area.

Dr.Kim is committed to delivering the highest quality of care utilizing the combination of atlas displacement correction with atlas orthogonality, gentle chiropractic adjustments, muscle therapy, exercise therapy and nutritional counseling. Dr. Kim has had great success treating patients with a range of acute to chronic injuries as well as cumulative trauma disorders.
